The Crystal Ship 2023: Mural by Elléna Lourens

Street art transcends borders and since this edition The Crystal Ship Oostende & IPAF Festival (hosted by Baz-Art) established an exchange program between Ostend (Belgium) and Cape Town (South Africa)!

First to kick off this collab and represent SA here was Elléna Lourens. In a way, her work breaks away from a active, vibrant street art tradition and instead Lourens creates delicate and poetic murals using minimal lines and colors, providing a serene and peaceful ambiance to a bustling city.
